Who can be a member?

The Professional Association of Mediators in Bulgaria is open to new members who share the objectives of PAMB and wish to take part in their implementation together with the team of PAMB.

PAMB’s members may be legally capable individuals, legal entities and sole traders who:

  • meet the criteria for membership,
  • share the objectives of the association and the means for their achievement,
  • execute its Statute, and
  • pay regularly their membership fee

For individuals

Only legally capable university graduates entered in the Unified Register of Mediators with the Ministry of Justice who meet the requirements stipulated in the Statute of PAMB, as well as the criteria for membership according to the Statute and the resolutions of the General Meeting, may be members of the Association.

For legal entities

A legal entity or sole trader which scope of activity is to provide mediation services or other methods for out-of-court settlement of disputes, carrying out of consultancy and training with regard to mediation which meets the requirements stipulated in the Statute of PAMB, as well as the criteria for membership in accordance with the Statute and the resolutions of the General Meeting, may also be a member of the Association.

In order to become a member

Applicants for membership should submit written application to the Managing Committee, accompanied by a written recommendation by at least two of the members of the Association. Applicants should also attach to the application a declaration whereby they declare that they accept the Statute of the Association and give their exact address, fax number and e-mail.
